GLENN JOSEY is the co-owner of Plough Gallery in Tifton GA. He is a photographer, printmaker and enjoys working with ceramics and other media.
Raised in South Georgia, Josey makes art that reflects his history with agriculture and an affinity for architectural details and the rapid changes of the culture that surrounds him.
Bio
Statement
I use the camera as a compositional tool as I document places, structures and iconic scenery of my past and present. Capturing notable, sometimes forgotten landmarks both digitally and on film is reflective of my relationship with this part of Georgia. By reproducing the images using a transfer process, I am able to achieve a degradation and a visual accuracy that captures the essence of a place I have called home for so long.
